Egyptian Street food can now be found at Zooba, a Cairo-based fast casual chain that has opened its first U.S. location on Kenmare Street in NoLita.  Co-founders Chris Khalifa and Moustafa El Refaey are hoping it catches on.  Several types of sandwiches are offered including one that is similar to a falafel with fava beans replacing the chickpeas.  Several meat options are also available along with herbed fries. The colorful space has the feel of a disco with neon and LEDs illuminating the ceiling.
