New Farm-to-Bar Cocktail Café Opens on the Upper East Side

Festivál, a new farm-to-bar cafe, boast a seasonal menu utilizing fresh, locally available ingredients from family owned farms. A hands on concept, owners Tyler Hollinger and Andrew Maturana frequently travel to their purveyor partners to hand choose ingredients, calling it a labor of love. These producers of the critically acclaimed cocktail festival Secret Summer™ have created unique cocktail cafe that emphasizes sustainability, community nourishment and quality experience.

During the day, Festivál will service the community as a sidewalk café, serving a diverse menu of unique coffee blends from Brooklyn’s SEY Coffee, RISE Nitro Cold Brew, eclectic teas, matcha’s and coffee concoctions as well as a decadent freshly baked pastries.

At night Festivál serves up a boutique yet varied menu of sharable plates and bites prepared by partner and executive chef Andrew Maturana, complemented by culinary-driven craft cocktails from lead mixologists and bartenders Devan van Eyck and Tony Edgerton.

Dishes and cocktails include Salmon Sushi Tostadas with Green Apple Ponzu, Togarashi Spice, Radish, and Ice Plants; Little Creek Oysters with Tomato Mignonette, Real Wasabi Ketchup, FESTIVÁL Hot Sauce, and Lemon; Beef Short Rib Pie with Espresso Porter Beer, Golden Beef Suet Pastry Top; and Phantom Punch (serves 4) - Ten to One Caribbean Rum, Velvet Falernum, Spiced Banana Demerara, Pineapple, Lime, Walnut.
