In honor of National Hot Chocolate Day (1/31), PHD Terrace is offering a 15 Pound ‘Cup of Flaming Red Velvet’ Hot Chocolate – created by Corporate Pastry Chef Paola Marocchi. The over-the-top spiked beverage for ten ($125), mixes the flavors of red velvet with Valrhona dark chocolate, while a full bottle of bourbon warms you up from the inside out. The drink's topped with Giant toasted marshmallows and served with cupcakes.
Seven Seeds at The Williamsburg Hotel is hosting an intimate evening showcasing Lebanese wines and food. Sami Ghosn, creator of Massaya Wine and Arak, will join the conversation on Thursday, January 23rd starting at 7PM. Guests will be guided through a 5-course meal and special pairings while learning why the Massaya brand story is so much more than wine.
Adventure travel brand BABOON TO THE MOON is releasing their latest limited edition print, Dog Dreams. To celebrate, it’s hosting a fête at NAKED's pop-up retail space in Nolita (224 Mulberry St) on Sunday, Jan 26th from 12:00pm – 3:00pm. There will be treats, live dog portrait paintings (first come, first served), goodies from Pet Plate, and more! The party will also support Social Tees animal rescue.

It might be the Year of the Rat, but Little Alley is celebrating this Lunar New Year with lobster and crab. The special menu includes Steamed Lobster with Glass Noodle, Lobster with Ginger Scallion, Spicy Crab, Salted Duck Egg Crab, Dry-woked Prawn, Steamed Whole Fish with Chopped Chili, and Stir-Fried Clams with Basil. It is available from Jan 21-26.

Who says classic cocktails need booze? Italian eatery Antica Pesa (115 Berry St, Brooklyn) is offering a selection of non-alcoholic cocktails throughout the month of January, including the Fragolino. It’s made with strawberry juice, Pic du Midi mint and ginger tea, lavender syrup and lemon peel.
Monarch Rooftop & Indoor Lounge’s Galentine’s Day Bottomless Brunch will be held on Sunday, Feb 9th from 1pm to 4pm. It will feature fun activities for a girls’ day out, although all genders are welcome. Activities include Make Your Own Galentine (cookie decorating), Prosecco Pong, Hair Braiding, and more. Proceeds from raffles will be benefit Bethenny Frankel's B Strong Foundation.
ROLLN is offering kid-friendly sushi in the shape of pandas. The rice pandas are among seasonal hand rolls such as the Braised Pork Roll and crunchy Shrimp Tempura Roll (as well as classics like Salmon Avocado and Spicy Tuna). The panda rolls are available in new Bento Boxes. They also have tips on making them at home using tools found on Amazon.
