92NY to Celebrate Sheldon Harnick

The 92NY’s current season of its beloved “Lyrics and Lyricists” series will close with “Wonder of Wonders: Celebrating Sheldon Harnick,” to run June 1-3. The event honors the extraordinary legacy of the famed lyricist, who passed away recently at the age of 99.

Tony Award-winning music director Ted Sperling leads this loving look at Harnick’s remarkable body of work, which includes songs from such musicals as “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Fiorello!,” “She Loves Me,” coupled with reflections on his wondrous life in musical theater.

Guest vocalists include Sam Gravitte, Adam Heller, Adam Kantor, Alysha Umphress, and Anna Zavelson.
