Sharon Lawrence, Nancy Mckeon, Nia Vardalos Among Stars of Off-Broadway’s Pen Pals

Complete casting has been announced for “Pen Pals, a poignant and heartwarming new play by Michael Griffo, which will continue at the Theatre at St. Clements through February 9.
The play, which is directed by SuzAnne Barabas, will feature an extraordinary ensemble of acclaimed actors playing Bernie and Mags, two lifelong friends whose deep connection is formed entirely through letters exchanged over five decades.
The rotating cast will feature Catherine Curtin and Sharon Lawrence (December 26-29); Nia Vardalos and Gail Winar (January 2-12): Ellen McLaughlin and Mary Beth Peil (January 20-26); Kate Burton and Pauletta Washington (January 29-February 2); and Johanna Day and Nancy McKeon (February 5-9).
