Restaurateurs Joe Campanale and Ilyssa Satter, the forces behind Fausto and LaLou, now have a third restaurant under their belt, Bar Vinazo, a wine bar exploring the pleasures of Spain in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Campanale, who is no stranger to life in Spain, is overseeing the beverage program featuring more than 150 natural, organic and biodynamic wines with a focus on lesser known regions. Cocktails also offer Spanish flair, including a namesake martini with hints of pickled Basque pepper brine, and the Txocolita described as a nod to sangria.

Bar Vinazo’s menu also celebrates the flavors of Spanish. Tapas such as croquetas de jamón y queso are served alongside an array of the country’s best meats and cheeses curated by Barcelona-born, Brooklyn-bred chef Silvia Garcia-Nevado. Seafood fideuà and pollo en pipitoria are counted among the more substantial dishes, along with conservas, tinned offerings such as berberechos cockles in brine and zamburiñas bay scallops in tomato sauce.

Bar Vinazo’s design features an expansive pine & terracotta bar and a show-stopping Cinco Jotas jámon carving station in prime view of all the tables. A back garden and patio with bluestone provides an outdoor oasis for Brooklynites and wine enthusiasts alike.

Bar Vinazo is located at 158 7th Ave (near 1st St), Brooklyn, NY. For more information, visit barvinazo.com
