NOFLEX NYC, an immersive bar and restaurant, is meant to mirror Seoul’s vibrant nightlife. Above the bar is an eye-catching 72-foot LED screen, designed to showcase digital art, live events, and custom-made messages. Black leather banquets with white illuminated plexiglass tables are designed to accentuate floor-to-ceiling custom pop art.

The menu, curated by newly appointed Executive Chef Victor Hahn (formerly of HYUN, Soogil) takes guests on a culinary journey through East Asia, emphasizing shareable plates like Spicy Korean Fried Chicken Skewers, Pork Belly Buns with Mentaiko Sauce; and Cigar Rolls filled with steak and shrimp. Mains include Shrimp Scallion Pancakes, Tornado Omelet with Bacon Kimchi Fried Rice, Seafood Nurungji Stew, and Potato Okonomiyaki with crispy bacon, shrimp, and melted mozzarella.

Desserts, by Executive Pastry Chef Chika Hanyu (formerly of Mariebelle), feature Kyoto Hoji Tea Roll Cake with a swirl of Japanese hoji tea and chocolate, Kyoto Green Tea Mousse Cake, and Brûlé Banana Nutella Croffle, a cross between a croissant and waffle.

Soju and sake-based cocktails are being offered, designed to blend Seoul’s hipster vibe with New York City’s iconic flair. Wines, champagnes, and shooters are also available along with premium mocktails. A full liquor license to follow.

NOFLEX NYC is located at 286 5th Ave in New York, NY. For more information, visit noflex.nyc
