Bryant Park’s beloved Dance Party is back for its 11th season, lighting up Wednesday and Thursday nights from April 30 to May 15. Each evening starts with free dance lessons at 6pm, followed by live music and open-air dancing from 7pm to 8:30pm. This year’s lineup includes Salsa, Motown, Bachata, Afrofusion, Samba, and more. The season wraps with a four-hour Latin Festival featuring two powerhouse bands on May 15. See schedule here

This April, the Brooklyn Museum offers something for everyone—from interactive Stroller Tours through its exhibitions to an Earth Day celebration with Herban Cura highlighting the healing power of plants. The month culminates with the Brooklyn Artists Ball After Party on April 29, featuring Swizz Beatz, late-night gallery access, and artist activations. Don’t miss the return of the Brooklyn Pop-Up Market and the always powerful Brooklyn Poetry Slam.

On May 15, 54 Below presents a concert performance of Alan Turing & the Queen of the Night, a queer fantasy blending the life of computing pioneer Alan Turing with the magical world of Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Expect bold new music, powerhouse vocals, and a surreal twist on history. Starring Spencer Petro and Sara Lucille Law, this genre-bending show is directed by Andrew Coopman and produced by Colibri Theatrical. Showtime is 9:30pm. Tickets here

Somewhere Nowhere just launched its brand-new comedy series, Somewhere Funny, Nowhere Serious, with an all-star lineup curated by Hatem Gabr. Catch comics from Netflix, Hulu, SNL, and more every Friday night at 112 W 25th Street. The fun kicks off at 5pm with an industry cocktail hour, followed by two stand-up showcases.
