South Street Seaport Museum announces the July Launch and Learn Sunday Sail, History on the Hudson to take place Sunday July 21, from 4–6pm, aboard the 1885 schooner Pioneer. Stefan Dreisbach-Williams, a historian known for his expertise on New York Harbor will lead the tour will have a focus on canals and sail freight. Tickets range from $20–$50.

“We Met IRL,” a local relations group, is hosting a “Meet My Friend” speed dating event at The Tippler, a classic cocktail bar nestled beneath Chelsea Market, on Tuesday, July 30. Tickets are $65 for two people ages 25 – 35.

Le Jardinier is offering a limited time dessert in honor of the Paris Olympics. It’s called La Flamme Fatal, an an eye-catching dessert crafted from Flan, raspberry cream and crunchy wafers created by Executive Chef Salvatore Martone. This special dessert will will be available throughout the duration of the Paris games.

ITALICUS & Savoia are taking over Eataly NYC at the SERRA by BIRRERIA rooftop in Flatiron from July-September. Visitors can stop by SERRA to enjoy their new “Choose Your Italian Summer Adventure” program, where local bartenders from various bars, countries and cultures will interpret and put their own spin on the Italian aperitivo concept.

The Whitney will debut MATERIAL (July 19-21), Alex Tatarsky’s new performance commissioned for the 2024 Biennial. Alex Tatarsky’s live performances toe the line between scripted sequences and improvisation through the experience of a trained clown, embracing the art of mockery.
