All Aboard! The MTA's final Holiday Nostalgia Train Rides will be heald on Sunday December 29th. The train will depart on the Downtown D line at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm. See video

Brooklynites can hit the rink. Industry City's ice skating rink is open with skating theme parties on Fridays and Saturdays (December 27 + 28 is Journey). The rink is open through late February. Check the IC website for hours and fees.
If you can't make it to the New York Botanical Garden for its train show, you can always head to Grand Central at the New York Transit Museum Gallery and Store through Feb 23. It might not be as elaborate, but the kids will love it! See video
