Atomix and Le Bernardin Among Top Restaurants in the World

Atomix and Le Bernardin couldn’t be more different. But they are the same in one respect Both have been named among the 50 best restaurants in the world and the only two to receive the honor in the United States.

Atomix, a 14-seat counter spot near Koreatown, was honored for “proving that quality overcomes quantity.” Atomix, which climbed 25 spots on the list, was named The Best Restaurant in North America. Atomix is operated by Chef Junghyun “JP” Park and Manager Ellia Park who are using New York City as their stage.

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants also citing Le Bernardin for the prominent “textures and colours” found at Eric Ripert’s fish temple in Midtown. The four-course menu includes “Almost Raw” items like tuna, scallop and kampachi crudo to pan-roasted dover sole and poached lobster with a foie gras-mushroom truffle cake.
