Chef and restaurateur Nils Noren has opened the Ban Ban Shop just steps from Columbia University on the Upper West Side. Noren, a native of Sweden, honed his skills at top restaurants such as KB restaurant where he received a Michelin Star. He was also recruited by Marcus Samuelsson to work at Aquavit and later at Red Rooster Harlem.
