Wild East Brewing Company in Gowanus, Brooklyn is hosting a special culinary event featuring a pop-up collaboration between Manhattan’s acclaimed Kebab aur Sharab and Kanyakumari restaurants. On October 5th and 6th, from noon to 6:00 pm, guests will experience the vibrant flavors of India paired with Wild East’s popular brews. The menu will showcase beloved Indian street foods, including the iconic vegetarian “Vada Pav” ($10), deep-fried potato dumpling with chutneys, and the “Saffron Rumali Rolls," soft flatbreads folded like a handkerchief served with “Aslam Butter Cream Chicken” ($22). Another featured dish is the “Tunday Kebab” made with baby goat and served with saffron-infused sheermal bread ($28), followed by the sweet treat “Custard Apple Rabri” ($12) for dessert.
Chef Dipesh Shinde, a Mumbai native and master of Indian culinary traditions, helms this collaboration, bringing together the distinctive styles of Kebab aur Sharab and Kanyakumari. Wild East Brewing, located at 623 Sackett St, is excited to welcome this culinary experience to its taproom, known for blending traditional European brewing techniques with modern American innovations. The event will feature indoor and outdoor seating, with reservations available via OpenTable, as well as walk-ins. Don’t miss this opportunity to savor exceptional Indian cuisine alongside expertly crafted beers, includinglagers, IPAs, sours, farmhouse ales, and English-style ales.
