Carlotto is inspired by Italy’s most famous regions. Located next door to Oceans, its sister restaurant in Union Square, Carlotto celebrates the Chef's longstanding Italian roots with a menu of house-made pastas, cocktails, and an impressive wine program.

Highlights of Executive Chef Andy Kitko's menu include Cicchetti (Tuna Stuffed Peppers; Crispy Pork Polpettine), Verdure Del Mercato (Baby Artichokes with walnut bagna cauda; Crispy Potatoes “Millefoglie” with parmesan and truffle), and Antipasti (Italian Radicchio with crispy pork, pickles, and grain mustard vinaigrette.

Diners will also discover dishes like Beef Carpaccio with Burgundy truffle, truffle aioli, pecorino al tartufo, and pickled mushrooms. There is Polpette Della Nonna, tomato-braised beef and veal meatballs, and Pinsa Romana with porcini crema, prosciutto, and arugula with truffle balsamico. Visitors will also find a robust selection of Italian cured meats and cheeses.

Pastas here are made fresh daily ranging from Mafaldine Limone with dungeness crab, and spring garlic to Tagliatelle Ragu Cinghiale with slow cooked wild boar and parmigiana, and Lasagne al Forno with ragu bolognese, wild mushrooms, bechamel, and mozzarella. Larger plates bring Branzino with braised fennel, cherry tomatoes, and breadcrumb salsa, and Veal Parmesan featuring a 16 oz bone-in Veal Chop with tomato, fresh mozzarella and basil.

Negronis and an Amaro Spritz lead off the cocktail list along with other creative libations such as the Pink Panther with Chopin Vodka, Istine Vermouth di Radda, Varnelli Fantasia, Passion Fruit Liqueur and Red Ceringola Olive. Visitors will also find some of Italy’s most highly sought-after wines from Piemonte, Tuscany, and Sicily. The expansive wine list also features far-reaching international varieties. There’s also an Italian-Style pilsner on draft courtesy Evil Twin Brewery called Botte.

Designed by the prestigious Rockwell Group, the luxe space provides an intimate dining experience. The focal point is an open kitchen and accompanying Chef’s Table . Brick walls and original Terracotta columns have been left exposed for a “found space” feel. A barrel vault ceiling is anchored by floor-to-ceiling wine storage.

Carlotto is located at 100 E 19th Street, New York, NY (212) 209-1054. The restaurant is open for dinner service Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00PM - 10:00PM to begin, and closed on Sunday and Monday. There are plans to seven days in the coming weeks.
