The Wallace Lounge is set to open March 1st inside The Wallace Hotel at 242 West 76th Street. The Wallace Lounge is the stylish piano bar and lounge from from Andrea Loscalzo, owner of Upper West Side mainstay Salumeria Rosi.
Located just a short walk away from Lincoln Center, the lounge features live music, cocktails, and light bites in a beautifully designed space complete with a Lilac Marble fireplace and Mason & Hamlin Grand Piano built in 1926.
A carefully curated menu features light bites such as Smoked Beef Tartare, Tempura Shrimp, Truffle Potato Croquettes, and Wagyu Sliders. There is also a Petrossian Caviar program, served by tray, with mini blinis and toasted Balthazar buns with caviar and crème fraiche paired with champagne by the glass. Sweet Bites bring Pistacchio Cheesecake, and Millefoglie, a mini puff pastry with vanilla chantilly cream, topped with fresh raspberries.
Signature cocktails include The Wallace Martini, a choice of Grey Goose or Tanqueray No. 10, with dry vermouth and bitters. Other offerings include the UWS Sparks with St-Germain, yellow grapefruit, bitters, and champagne; and the Baïka Martini, Grey Goose, with olive brine, and caviar.
The Walter Lounge is a perfect spot for a night out, or pre-and post-theater destination. For more information, visit thewallace.com
