You know what they say, “What goes around, comes around.” And for Chloe Coscarelli, one of the original founders of By Chloe, who says she was forced out by a rogue partner, the ride back couldn’t be sweeter.
Her new restaurant, simply called Chloe, sits on the same bright corner of Bleecker Street in the West Village where the original once stood. The ultra white storefront, like in the past, stands out amongst the crowd. Inside, the sound of clanking plates and glasses stands as a testament to Coscarelli‘s persistence to bring Chloe back. (The original By Chloe now goes by the name Beatnic.)
Just like the old menu, the new one is strictly vegan from the Classic Burger made with a plant-based patty and butternut-cashew cheddar to the Hot Italian with meatballs made from mushrooms, walnuts and soy. There are other tantalizing dishes loke Summer Corn Mac, Quinoa Taco Salad, and Roasted Tomato-Basil Soup.
And then there are the sweets - Sea Salt Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Chocolate Strawberry Cupcakes and a luscious Chocolate Sprinkle Cake are in the mix. Visitors will also find drinks ranging from cold-pressed juices to La Colombe cold brew along with a selection of beer and wine, as well as a non-alcoholic Blood Orange Spritz.
Chloe is located at 185 Bleecker Street, New York, NY. For more information, visit chloeonbleecker.com
