Cicada pop-up at Brooklyn’s Grand Army Bar

Cicada pop-up at Grand Army Bar taking place this Sunday 1/7 from 6-9pm, hosted by Grand Army chef Jake Keller. Cicada is chef Grace Model and chef Fred Taylor's love letter to the mid-Atlantic region. Grace, who grew up in the NY/NJ area, and Fred, who hails from Maryland, first met working as line cooks at Toro in Boston. They began dating and have since dreamed of opening a restaurant together. After several stints at Michelin-starred restaurants in Boston and Chicago, they moved to NYC in 2023. Grace currently works in the FOH at Dame, and Fred is working at Noksu.
There will be a handful of special items from both the Grand Army team and the Cicada team (menu below), in addition to GA's regular a la carte menu. Guests can make reservations on Grand Army's Resy page.
