Cocktail Time - The Mekhong Delta at V{IV}
May 31, 2021, 11:23.43 am ET
V{IV} is a funky spot in Hell’s Kitchen known for its Thai food and cocktails. Even during the pandemic, it embraced life with style and flair. Cocktails are key. There’s a full list of designer martinis and fruity concoctions, two of which stood out to us.
Evergreen Elixir is a neon colored drink that explodes with flavor. It’s made with Ketel One Cucumber, Mint Vodka, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, freshly squeezed cucumber and lime juice. It’s topped with a skewered slice of cucumber. Sexy and delicious.
The Mekhong Delta is another charmer. It’s a mix of Mekhong Rum, Pineapple and orange juice, Bruce Cost Ginger Ale, grenadine, angostura and orange bitters. It’s layered like a sunset and topped with skewered cherries and an orange slice. Fresh and fabulous.

And so is the food, everything from chicken satays and pineapple fried rice, BBQ spare ribs and Duck Tamarind, perfect for sharing with some drinks. Our personal favorite is the Phuket Shrimp, chicken stuffed tiger prawns served with a tamarind dipping sauce.
V{IV} is located at 717 9th Avenue, New York, NY (212) 581-5999
