Crevette, the newest culinary endeavor from Ed Szymanski and Patricia Howard located at 10 Downing Street is bringing a sophisticated mix of coastal French, Spanish, and Riviera cuisine to Greenwich Village. Following the success of their previous spots, Dame and Lord's, the pair now takes diners on a journey to the Mediterranean with a menu focused on fresh, seasonal seafood and vibrant, vegetable-forward dishes.

Highlights include indulgent snacks like Caviar & Butter on Grilled Brioche and Red Shrimp & Uni Tartare. For a deeper dive into the menu, try the Whole Dover Sole with Provençal Baker’s Potatoes or the Grilled Duck Kebab with Piperade & Marjoram.

The Bouillabaisse, served in the traditional Marseillaise style, delivers a warming, seafood stew that perfectly encapsulates the region’s flavors. Dishes like the Swiss Chard, Goat’s Curd & Chickpeas offer a sweet finish.

The drink menu complements the meal with crafted cocktails that draw on apéro culture, with French and Spanish twists on classic drinks. Highlights include the Pastis Gimlet, a Bijou, a Trident, an Armagnac Manhattan, as well as a designated Martini section.

A 120-bottle wine list focuses on low-intervention wines, many sourced from the same Mediterranean regions that inspire the dishes. The triangular space itself mirrors the elegance and relaxed vibes of the menu. With floor-to-ceiling French doors that let in an abundance of natural light, Crevette has a grander and more spacious dining room than either Dame or Lord's.

Howard’s design choices also include honey-toned cherry wood accents, a 10-foot by 4-foot commissioned painting of a dinner table by artist Michael McGregor, and vintage furnishings imported from England. A bright pink host stand and Amalfi-inspired bathroom design add playful, unexpected touches, while the 70-seat dining room offers a spacious and stylish setting for a night out. The addition of 40 outdoor seats for warmer months ensures this new spot will be a year-round destination.
