El Quijote Returns to Hotel Chelsea

Just like Don Quixote chasing windmills, El Quijote continues to survive the passage of time. The Spanish restaurant, located in Hotel Chelsea, is making a triumphant return, even as the hotel continues to undergo major renovations. Leading its return is Sunday Hospitality Group, the same folks behind, Sunday in Brooklyn. Also returning is El Quijote’s flamboyant space with red velvet chairs and gilded walls. The flavors of Spain are also making a comeback. Think flavorful paellas and maybe some of those oversized lobsters it is best remembered for.
