After years of winning over locals with her pie-of-the-month club and masterfully crafted baked goods, Pastry Chef Rebecca Shuster is turning her dream into reality with the opening of Farmhouse Sweets, her first brick-and-mortar bakery, nestled in The Mall at Panther Valley in Allamuchy, New Jersey. Known for her dedication to seasonal ingredients and artful technique, Shuster's new space promises to be a sweet haven for her loyal followers and curious newcomers alike.

At the heart of the menu are her celebrated pies, starting the season with 8-inch apple crumb and pumpkin, plus petite 5-inch options like key lime and pear-cranberry with a gingersnap crumb. Seasonal tarts will make their debut too—think maple crème brûlée, salted chocolate caramel, and a lush pear almond. Her bread program is just as impressive, featuring Farmhouse White loaves, baguettes, brioche a têtes, and a selection of buttery croissants, both savory (ham and Swiss, goat cheese with honey and fig) and sweet (classic chocolate or plain).

For those craving something smaller, there’s no shortage of tempting bites, from seasonal muffins and scones to decadently rich brownies, blondies, macarons, and cupcakes. Cakes, customizable for any occasion, also take center stage, showcasing Shuster's keen eye for detail and design.

Guests can enjoy their treats with freshly brewed Booskerdoo coffee from a self-serve station, or take home pre-packaged coffee and house-made granola—perfect for pairing with yogurt or simply snacking on its own.

Whether it’s for a morning pastry, a celebratory dessert, or a midday coffee break, Farmhouse Sweets is shaping up to be a must-visit for food lovers.
