Faubourg Weehawken Makes a Splash Across the Hudson

Faubourg Weehawken, sister restaurant to the popular flagship Montclair location from Daniel Boulud alums Dominique Paulin and Chef Olivier Muller, is now officially open at Port Imperial - just an 8-minute ferry ride from Midtown West on New Jersey's "Gold Coast."

The menu is chock full of seasonal and classic French dishes like Tarte Flambée with fromage blanc and bacon; a Beet & Plum salad served with spinach, feta brûlée, farro cracker; Ricotta Ravioli & corn with zucchini, fava beans, basil and pecorino.

Classics include Coq au Vin, a roasted chicken & ratatouille; Beef Duo with bavette & oxtail, spinach, soubise; and Branzino with fennel and sauce vierge. Steaks also make an appearance like the 12 OZ Sirloin Seak served with green beans, gem lettuce and sauce au poivre; and the mammoth 32 OZ Dry Aged Ribeye which includes two sides of your choice with sauce au poivre or bordelaise. There are also an assortment of plant-based and vegan options.

For dessert, a tahitian vanilla crème brulée served with rhubarb compote and the option to indulge with a floater of flambéed Grand Marnier.

Handcrafted cocktails await like Polynesian Paradise (Bacardi Rum, Giffard Vanilla, Blueberry, Cinamon, Lemon); White Cosmo (Prairie Vodka, Cointreau, Elderflower, White Cranberry, Lime); Spicy Pineapple Margarita (Tanteo Chipotle Tequila,Pineapple, Agave, Lime); and Let The Beet Drop (Prairie Gin, Suze, Beet, Lemongrass, Ginger, Lemon).

The space designed by architect and designer Craig Shillito of Cycle Projects (ABCv, Lilia, Loring Place) has created a modern brasserie-inspired spaces that flow effortlessly into each other. There is a grand bar with dining area, an open kitchen and main dining room, an intimate cocktail lounge with plush seating, and a private dining room.

Natural light floods the thoughtfully designed rooms through floor-to-ceiling windows, with accents of burnt orange and cool woods complementing Faubourg's signature blue for a modern brasserie-inspired aesthetic.
