Spring is in the air and on full display this Easter Sunday when the annual Easter parade is held. The informal parade starts at 10am outside St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Fifth Avenue. Paradegoers are encouraged to put on their favorite Easter bonnet or over-the-top costume and head on over to the parade. The tradition, which dates back to the 1870s, is one of New York City’s favorite spring events. After the parade, New Yorkers and visitors alike can take advantage of special Easter Brunches around the city! See more Easter events here. After the parade, check out some Easter Brunch ideas around the city.
