Karakterre, the leading natural wine festival focusing on the region of Austria and Central and East Europe, is coming to New York City’s Rockefeller Center on Saturday, November 5th after a two-year hiatus. Over 50 natural winemakers from Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Czech and Slovak Republics, Hungary and Italy will convene in the heart of Manhattan for a single day of natural wine tasting.
The organic and biodynamic growers will personally showcase their wines for a tasting, meeting and connecting, some coming to New York for the very first time. The all-day tasting begins at 10.00, for the industry, and then opens its doors to the general public from 11.30 to 6pm. Karakterre will be held at 45 Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan. Tickets are $55 in advance and $25 for the wine trade industry. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
