Joey Bats Cafe at Rockefeller Center is a real crowd pleaser
March 17, 2021, 5:54.34 pm ET
After starting as a pop-up last fall, Joe Bats has grown into a full-scale cafe at Rockefeller Center, emerging stronger after the pandemic. The cafe with its swirvy counter showcases Joey Bats' signature dish, the Portuguese Tart, also known as Pasteis de Nata which is similar to creme brulee wrapped in crispy pastry. It also happens to be quite delicious served warm.
Visitors will also find croissants drizzled with chocolate and assorted pastries along with several types of coffee drinks. The cafe also offers outdoor seating in view of the golden statue of Prometheus, and the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree during the winter months.
