John Krasinski Stars in “Angry Alan”
March 26, 2025, 1:59.41 pm ET
Award-winning actor John Krasinski will star in Penelope Skinner’s one-man dark comedy “Angry Alan,” which will officially open the Studio Seaview space that occupies the former Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd Street). The production, to run from May 3 through August 6, will be directed by Sam Gold.
The show concerns Roger, who is divorced, demoted, and drifting—lost in an era that no longer makes sense. But when an online personality promises clarity, Roger dives in without looking back.
Krasinski is best known for his TV work in “The Office” and “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” and the film “A Quiet Place,” which he also co-wrote and directed.
