Kamasu, the newest concept from Kissaki Hospitality Group, now has a location at 100 John Street in the heart of the Financial District. Visitors will find an assortment of vibrant Maki Rolls and Temaki Hand Roll Sets.
Executive Chef Edgar Valerio draws from his unrelenting passion to cultivate a culinary experience where everyone feels at home. Kissaki and now Kamasu is the next step in that evolution.
Temaki Hand Roll Sets feature delicacies such as Kanpachi, Striped Bass, Salmon, and more. The a la carte menu offers an assortment of sushi, including Mushroom, Spicy Scallop, Fluke, Akami and Toro. Appetizers like Spicy Cucumber Salad and Kani Avocado Salad are available in addition to a variety of Maki Rolls and entrees such as Vegetarian, Guidon, Tuna Avocado and Salmon Donburi Bowls.
The new John Street location also has a special guest – BellaBot - a state-of-the-art robot that assists in running dishes to and from tables. Kamasu also operates locations in Hudson Yards and Time Out Market in DUMBO.
Owner Garry Kanfer, known for building brands, is a self-described “sushi addict” who created Kissaki as a one-of-a-kind omakase experience and is hoping to do the same with Kamasu. For more information, visit https://kamasubykissaki.com/
