At the very tip of Canal Street on the LES you will find Le Dive, a dreamy French wine bar known for serving up natural wines. The space marked by floor-to-ceiling windows, lively bar and signature burgundy awning sits on a sunny corner with plenty of outdoor seating.
Visitors will find a lengthy list of French and European wines ranging from whites and reds to sparkling, orange and skin contact sold by the bottle and/or glass, with many bottles in the $50 to $70 range. Cocktails include the Le Dive Martini with Gin, Vermouth, and Carrot Aquavit; Suze Sbagliato with Suze, and Cocchi Americano; the Gimlet ‘37’ with Gin, Grapefruit and Cucumber; and Strawberry Lime Daiquiri.
The wines are accompanied by small bites. Look for things like Artichoke with Dijon aioli, Prosciutto & Melon, Steak Tartare with cornichons, capers and calabrian chili, and Smoked Salmon with dill crème.
Le Dive is located at 37 Canal St, New York, NY.
