Chef Amanda Cohen, founder of Michelin-starred Dirt Candy, and partner Andrea Kerzner, now have a second location of Lekka Burger at 570 Lexington Ave (Urbanspace) where the emphasis is on healthy ingredients and sustainability. The first location is in TriBeCa. The Lekka menu is anchored by Chef Cohen’s burger patty based on a 900-year-old, secret recipe, made with a combination of ingredients that can be found in any home kitchen.

Flame grilled and served on a vegan milk bun, the burger options include the Lekka Burger with ketchup, mustard, vegan mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles; Lekka Cheeseburger with cheese sauce, ketchup, mustard, vegan mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles; Peri Peri Burger with house-made peri peri sauce, vegan mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and onion; and the Masala Burger with house-made coconut chutney cabbage-slaw, tamarind ketchup and crispy papadum. Other offerings include crinkle cut fries and vegan soft serve and shakes in assorted flavors, including halvah.
