Are you ready for an earful? Wallflower (37 W. 24th Street) is a new 70s-inspired listening bar that will be open from 4am until late on Wednesdays through Saturdays. It will also feature live DJs spinning vinyl on Thursdays from 6pm to 11pm.

Jeremy Ortiz leads the inventive beverage program, which includes the Pina Colada Highball; the Pornstar Martini; the Whiskey Sour; the Manhattan Noir; the Always Naked, the Almost Famous; and the Banana Daiquiri, among others. A rotating wine program features one white, one red, two skin contact wines, and one sparkling. Happy Hour runs from 4 pm to 6 pm, Wednesday through Saturday, with $5 beers, $5 wines, and $10 cocktails available.

Executive Chef Clint Snowling is responsible for the food program at Wallflower, which features a menu of shareable bar bites designed to complement the cocktail offerings, ranging from popcorn to chips and dip, loaded fries, a shrimp cocktail, a garlic butter pretzel, chicken wings, and a Thai-flavored sausage roll.

One fun fact about Wallflower is that nearly everything in the bar is for sale—from the art on the walls, which will regularly rotate, to the glassware -- allowing guests the unique opportunity to bring a piece of Wallflower home with them. The eclectic décor includes over 50 curated pieces of art, 500 records, vintage lamps and quirky items like an old payphone -- all sourced from vintage sellers across the U.S. and Australia.
