In the heart of Greenpoint, where family life and food culture flourish, Lingo is carving out a special place at the table for its youngest diners. Known for its innovative Japanese American cuisine and cozy neighborhood charm, Lingo has introduced a thoughtfully curated kids' menu for brunch and dinner—a move that’s as practical as it is heartwarming.

Chef Emily Yuen, a mother herself, understands the balancing act of dining out with kids. “Our kids' menu isn’t just about smaller portions,” Yuen shares. “It’s a chance to introduce young palates to the magic of dining, fostering creativity and connection through food.” The menu offers fun, kid-friendly bites alongside engaging activities to keep little ones entertained while parents enjoy dishes like smoked tamago sando or albacore tuna crudo.

In addition to the new kids' menu, Lingo is bringing back a fan favorite: the Banana Hotcakes Foster (above). This brunch star features Japanese-style pancakes topped with banana, black sesame, black sugar syrup, rum, and salted miso caramel ice cream.

Set near Transmitter Park, Lingo blends neighborhood charm with standout dishes like smoked tamago sando and beef and bone marrow pie. With this new offering, it’s a place where both kids and parents can feel at home.
