Summer is upon us and Mavericks, a stylish modern steakhouse, is making its move in Montauk, New York. It is courtesy of Managing Partner Vanessa Price (resident TODAY Show sommelier and author), and James Beard-nominated chef Jeremy Blutstein (previously of Crow’s Nest and Showfish).

Mavericks is reimagining the traditional steakhouse from “nose to tail” with zero-waste culinary practices while showcase ingredients from local farming and fishing communities. This season’s menu features popular items like Grilled Oysters with kimchi, house-smoked lardo and Bone In Tuna Ribeye with housemade harissa; alongside some exciting new additions like Fried Chicken & Caviar and a Mavericks Burger served with au poivre sauce and caramelized onions slow-cooked in foie gras fat. The burger is an off menu item available at a limited count on a nightly basis from open until it sells out for the night

Guests can enjoy their meals with an unobstructed view of Fort Pond (a hidden gem with over three miles of shoreline) while sipping on one of Mavericks’ signature cocktails like Weekend Warrior with Tanteo tequila, jalepeño, persimmon, and black lime salt and the Off The Record with Farmers Organic Gin, Yuzu Sake, Grapefruit, and Green Chartreuse.

Additionally, the extensive wine list with more than 500 selections is well-traveled and features local wines from New York as well as from France, Lebanon, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Oregon, Greece, The U.K., South Africa, New Zealand and California.

Starting Memorial Day Weekend, Mavericks will be open for dinner seven days a week from 5pm-9pm Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, 5-10pm Thursdays and Sundays and 5-11pm Fridays and Saturdays with weekend lunch and brunch starting mid-June. Reservations available via Resy. Large party requests can go to getatable@mavericksmontauk.com.
