Nobody Told Me now has a second location in DUMBO. Located at 188 Front Street, the popular chef-driven cocktail bar is led by co-owners Nick Pfannerstill, former chef de cuisine at Michelin-starred Dovetail and partner of industry hotspot Mother’s Ruin, along with longtime friend and Beverage Director Alberto Miranda, formerly of In Good Company Hospitality.

After a successful opening on the Upper West Side, the brand is excited to bring an inventive yet approachable cocktail menu with elevated bar fare to DUMBO. “The concept is straightforward,” said Miranda. It’s cool cocktails and late-night bites in a spot we’d want to hang out.”

The DUMBO location boasts a 20-seat bar located near the open kitchen. Look for reimagined bar favorites like the Nobody’s Burger, a play on McDonald’s for grownups [double smashed patties, cheddar, special sauce, and pickles on a Hawaiian roll] and a baked-to-order Amaretto Milk + Cookie [chocolate chunk toffee cookie with boozy amaretto milk shots].

Guests will also discover new items, including Aguachile Striped Bass [pineapple, cucumber, nutmeg, taro chips], Crab Imperial [gratinéed lump crab and vadouvan curry crème fraîche, celeriac, toast points], and Steak Frites [grilled bavette, and numbing au poivre sauce].

A rotating selection of house cocktails includes Copy of a Copy [mezcal, hibiscus, almond, Dutch bitters, mint], How to Start a Fire [tequila, spicy pineapple, house tajín] plus DUMBO-specific offerings like Call to Arms [butter-washed aquavit, spiced pear, honey, lemon], and Saints + Sailors [rhum blend, rhubarb amaro, berbere spice].

The new space pays homage to DUMBO’s rich industrial heritage with upscale lighting fixtures, plush banquets, and oversized windows overlooking the neighborhood. There is also a lightheartedness about the space, including a vintage payphone plastered with stickers by local street artists, and a mural depicting pigeons enjoying martinis.

Nobody Told Me DUMBO is open seven days a week from 3pm-2am, with plans to incorporate daily brunch and patio spanning the corner of Bridge and Front Street this Spring. For more information, visit nobodytoldme.nyc
