Nobu is Hawaii Bound: World-Renowned Restaurant to Open at Grand Wailea, Maui in 2025

Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, is partnering with the globally acclaimed Nobu restaurant to launch its first location on Maui in summer 2025. This exciting addition is part of the resort's $350 million renovation, spearheaded by owner Blackstone Real Estate. Designed by the award-winning Rockwell Group, Nobu at Grand Wailea will offer over 13,000 sq.ft. of dining space with stunning ocean views, a sushi bar, and signature dishes like Black Cod with Miso and Yellowtail Jalapeño.

Chef Nobu Matsuhisa expressed his excitement about bringing Nobu’s iconic cuisine to Wailea Bay, alongside exclusive menu items for the resort. “We are deeply excited to bring the Nobu signature dishes and dining experience that guests have come to cherish to Wailea Bay,” said Matsuhisa.

This opening, alongside the resort’s existing restaurants like Olivine and Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa, will solidify Grand Wailea as a premier dining destination in Hawaii.
