PUBLIC Hotel Launches New Sunset Rooftop Happy Hour

Sunset is the new happy hour at the PUBLIC on the Lower East Side. It lives up to its name as guest take it fabulous 360-degree views of the city as the sun goes down. Sunset is available weekdays from 5pm to 7pm with specially-priced cocktails, wine and beer along with bites from the hotel restaurant, Popular, by chef Diego Munoz.
During happy hour, guests can enjoy complimentary popcorn and mixed nuts. There are mini sliders for sharing, chicken empanadas with chili sauce, and guac and chips. For a sweet treat, Magnolia cupcakes are also being served. Guests can also take advantage of specially priced drinks during happy hour, including one with tequila, grapefruit, soda and lime as well as Via Carota bottled cocktails.
The PUBLIC rooftop offers stunning floor-to-ceiling windows in the bar and enclosed year-round lounge area, including the Empire State Building. Outdoors there is lots of seating where guests can gather during warmer weather, and heated igloos that can seat up to ten people in the winter months.
