This fall, Pearl River Mart is excited to welcome Maxi’s Noodle, renowned for its “super-sized” wontons, to the Little Eats 小吃 stand in Chelsea Market. This six-month residency will showcase a curated selection of crowd-pleasing favorites from the beloved Hong Kong-style eatery.
Diners can look forward to enjoying handmade shrimp and pork wontons served in a savory broth, wonton noodle soup featuring delicate duck egg noodles based on a cherished family recipe, and a delicious wonton and noodle dish dressed with ja jiang sauce, made with tender pork strips, mushrooms, and vibrant Asian greens.

Owner Maxi Lau's culinary journey began after she decided to pursue her dream of opening a restaurant. After starting with a pop-up in her aunt’s café in Flushing, her handmade creations quickly gained popularity. Lau has long aspired to bring her creations to Manhattan, and her dream is coming to fruition through this partnership with Pearl River Mart.
Joanne Kwong, Pearl River Mart’s president, notes that fall and winter are ideal for cozy comfort foods, and with Maxi's giant wontons packed with flavor, this collaboration is a perfect match for the Little Eats 小吃 space. Maxi’s Noodle will be the fifth residency at Pearl River Mart Foods, which celebrates local chefs and diverse culinary traditions.
Maxi’s Noodle will pop up on November 7th, serving comfort foods daily from 12 PM to 7 PM at 75 9th Avenue inside the Chelsea Market.
