Golden Hof, the latest venture from the team behind Chef Sam Yoo’s Golden Diner, is set to debut just steps from Rockefeller Center at 16 W 48th St, promising to bring a fresh perspective on modern Korean cuisine and culture to Midtown Manhattan.

Imagined as an old-school New York pub infused with the vibrancy of a Korean bar, Golden Hof is a reflection of the Korean American experience, courtesy of a chef deeply rooted in both worlds. The concept captures the charm of a neighborhood watering hole while spotlighting Korean culinary traditions, creating an inviting space where good vibes and even better food take center stage.

Golden Hof’s menu focuses on anju—Korean dishes designed to be enjoyed alongside drinks. Expect bold flavors, inventive twists, and ingredients you won’t find anywhere else in the city. Pair these dishes with Asian beers, cocktails, and Korean spirits that are served in a refreshingly unpretentious style.

In true Golden Hof fashion, the experience is about quality without pretense. Affordable prices, cozy surroundings, and a communal energy make it a place for everyone, whether you’re a Midtown office worker grabbing a quick bite or a group of friends toasting to a night out.

For a more upscale experience, the team is also opening NY Kimchi Korean Raw Bar & Steakhouses, brining a Korean fine dining experience in a subterranean space at the same location.
