Mai’s Vietnamese restaurant is set to Open October 15, 2024 at 7809 3rd Ave in Brooklyn (former home to Samia’s and Sally’s). A sneak peek at the menu finds shrimp summer rolls, Banh Mi sandwiches, Dom Tum salad, BBQ pork with vermicelli and beverages like Vietnamese ice coffee, Salty Plum soda and more!
Also on our radar, it looks like Daily Provisions appears to be getting ready to open in the concourse at Rockefeller Center just in time for the holidays.
And legendary butcher shop, Lobel’s, dating back to 1840, also appears to be making progress on its opening at Rock Center. Cititour spotted a notice for a liquor license in the window. Lobel’s, which operates a concession at Yankee Stadium, is known for its steak sandwiches and steak-topped fries.
