Robyn Hurder Extends Chicago Run to September 15

Award-winning actress Robyn Hurder will continue her acclaimed run as “merry murderess” Velma Kelly in the long-running Broadway revival of the beloved John Kander-Fred Ebb musical “Chicago” at the Ambassador Theatre, through September 15.

Hurder, who began this stint in April, has previously played the roles of Roxie and Mona in the musical. Her numerous Broadway credits include “A Beautiful Noise,” “Moulin Rouge,” “Nice Work If You Can Get it” and “Grease,” She also appeared as Cassie in the New York City Center production of “A Chorus Line.”

“Chicago” currently also stars Bianco Marroquin as Roxie Hart, Natasha Yvette Williams as Mama Morton, Max von Essen as Billy Flynn, and Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart.

During Hurder’s run, she will appear opposite Jinxx Monsoon, who will return to the role of Mama Morton from June 27 through July 12, and Ariana Madix, who will return to the role of Roxie Hart from August 1 through August 28.
