Who needs a carnival when you’ve got “Old Friend” on Orchard? This small photo booth tucked away at 117 Orchard Street is serving up big nostalgia – and a four-pose photo strip for just $8. Since opening on June 24, the booth has become an NYC hotspot for retro photo fun, pulling in everyone from Lower East Side locals to tourists in search of an authentic NYC keepsake.

Operating daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., this no-frills photo experience gives visitors a quick 3-second countdown before the flash goes off, so make sure to be seated and strike a pose fast! Patrons have a choice of two classic backdrops: a crisp white or a curtain option. When choosing a background (curtain or white), note that darker skin tones or clothing may appear dimmer against the curtain, while lighter tones and clothing will look brighter on the white background.

It’s all about simple, old-school fun – four snaps, eight bucks, and a dose of timeless New York City charm.
