Brooklyn Chop House at 150 Nassau Street in FiDi created and implemented a 40 point safety plan back in June. They'll have seating for 40 indoors, which is 25% of their legal occupancy with 8 custom plexiglass partitions dividing the dining room and tables throughout. Additional safety precautions include having a custom-made walkthrough thermal temperature scanner, which will take each diner’s temperature. Additionally, HVAC ultraviolet lights will kill bacteria in the air. There will be a UVC sanitizing station for cutlery and glassware, which will be saran-wrapped for guests to open at the table, in addition to a sanitizing station for patrons with masks and gloves available.
