Suppli Summer Kicks Off at Forsythia

Forsythia is debuting Suppli Summer, a series featuring limited-edition Roman snacks, similar to rice balls filled with suppli flavors from guest chefs and tastemakers. Kicking off July 22 and running through August, the Lower East Side trattoria is collaborating with an exciting line-up of culinary talent, including:


July 22-28: Kevin Rezvani, 7th Street Burger
July 29-Aug 4: Lena Ciardullo, Union Square Café
August 5-11: Rachel Brotman, The Carboholic
August 12-18: Angie Rito and Scott Tacinelli, Don Angie and San Sabino
August 19-25: Dan Richer, Razza

Each week, Forsythia will offer a unique spin on the Roman staple crafted in collaboration with the guest chefs. Highlights include a sacrilegious-but-delicious cheeseburger suppli created with the 7th Street Burger team and suppli alla norma from Union Square Cafe’s Lena Ciardullo.

A portion of the suppli proceeds will be donated to Food Education Fund, a nonprofit supporting culinary-focused public high school students in New York City.

The special suppli flavors can be enjoyed at Forsythia, where walk-ins are welcomed nightly at the bar. Guests with reservations for dinner in the main dining room can also opt for the limited-run suppli as an à la carte menu item.
