The Noortwyck, Dutch for the North District, has opened at the corner of Bleecker Street and 7th Avenue. The restaurant is run by Chef and Co-Owner Andrew Quinn and Cedric Nicaise, Co-Owner and former Sommelier, both formerly from Eleven Madison Park.

Dinner includes dishes like Peeko Oysters with cucumber mignonette, Burrata with peaches & rye, Bucatini with ramps & white pepper, BBQ Duck Breast with apricots & spring greens, and Smoked Hanger Steak with spring onion and tamarind. Desserts include a Cherry Tart with almond and chantilly, and Mille Feuille with banana, stout caramel and chocolate.

The wine list spans the world with stops in Italy, Spain, France, and Portugal, among others. Cocktails include the Electric Lady with tequila, cachaça, aloe, cucumber, habanero and lime, and Bleecker Street Cobbler with fino sherry, aquavit, strawberry and rhubarb. There’s also an interesting collection of Amaro, an Italian liqueur served as an after-dinner digestif.

The Noortwyck is located at 289 Bleecker St, New York, NY
