On Saturday, February 8th, 2025, Wayan will celebrate its sixth anniversary with an extraordinary dining experience, offering guests a chance to indulge in the East Javanese tradition of Liwetan. This centuries-old culinary tradition is typically reserved for significant life events, bringing friends and family together to share a feast served on large banana leaves. The tradition’s aromatic, family-style presentation promises a truly immersive and communal dining experience.

For this special occasion, guests can choose between two impressive centerpieces: a whole Sea Bass or whole Chicken Lombok, both prepared with bold, vibrant flavors that define Indonesian cuisine. Accompanying these dishes will be a selection of side items, including Rock Shrimp Satay, Short Rib Rendang, Risol Bihun (vermicelli spring rolls), Soft Boiled Eggs, Krupuk (savory crackers) and Brussels Sprouts Terasi, adding variety and depth to the celebration.

The $138 per person prix-fixe Liwetan dinner is designed to offer an authentic taste of Indonesia's rich culinary heritage, all served in a visually stunning presentation. No plates or utensils are suggested. Reservations via Resy.
