Whoopi Goldberg to Star in New Production on Annie

Multi-award winner Whoopi Goldberg will star as Miss Hannigan in a new production of the iconic Tony Award-winning musical “Annie” at The Theater at Madison Square Garden from December 11, 2024 through January 5, 2025. The production, directed by Jenn Thompson, will begin its run on December 4.
Joining Goldberg in the title role of “Annie” is Hazel Vogel. The principal cast also includes Christopher Swan as “Oliver Warbucks,” Julia Nicole Hunter as “Grace,” Mark Woodard as “FDR.” Rhett Guter as “Rooster,” and Isabella De Souza Moore as “Lily St. Regis.” Kevin, a 7-year-old labradoodle, stars as Annie’s beloved dog “Sandy.”
The Orphans will be played by Aria Valentina Aldea, Eva Lizette Carreon, Anna Dillon, Kylie Noelle Patterson, Olive Ross-Kline and Nora West. The featured ensemble includes Stephen Cerf, Anthony DaSilva, Savannah Fisher, Alloria Frayser, Brooke Olivia Gatto, Caroline Glazier, Ryan Mulvaney, Joel Newsome, Melinda Parrett, Lawrence E. Street, Drew Tanabe and Stephanie Wahl.
