Williamsburg Pizza has officially opened its first non-NYC location in founder Aaron McCann’s hometown of Omaha. Boasting some market-specific menu items and specials, the debut marks an exciting time for the growing restaurant group.

Helmed by owner Aaron McCann and acclaimed head chef/owner Nino Coniglio (award-winning pizzaiolo and Food Network Chopped Champion), the original Williamsburg Pizza location opened its doors in 2012 on the south side of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The group has since expanded to the Lower East Side (2014), Crown Heights (2016), Upper East Side (2019), and Bushwick (2022).

Loyal to its roots, Williamsburg Pizza sources its meat, bread, and fresh mozzarella from independent Williamsburg distributors, some of which have been operating for decades. One such long term relationship is with Pecoraro Cheese, which gets curd from their own organic farm in upstate New York. They also use Sicilian sea salt, freshly ground butcher grind black pepper, and Ciao tomatoes from Campania in their signature tomato sauce.

The new location will also feature several menu items that are exclusive to Omaha.

Also, In honor of Pizza Margherita Day (Sunday, June 11), customers who purchase one margherita slice on-site at any Williamsburg Pizza New York location (and mention the "holiday" at checkout) will receive an additional slice of their choice for free!
