Central Park’s Wollman Rink is kicking off its guest chef series Nov. 25 through Nov. 27. Wollman café will feature a Korean-Kajun mashup including Cajun Spiced Pork Ribs, Honey Jalapeno Cornbread, and Potato-Daikon Salad by Jae Jung, the chef/owner of Midtown South’s bastion of the new “chaos cooking” genre KJUN. The acclaimed Top Chef alum, who also worked in the kitchens of Le Bernardin and Café Boulud, will make an on-site appearance on Saturday, Nov. 26 from 3 to 5 p.m.
Wollman Café’s new guest chef series is an extension of Great Performances’ People’s Kitchen program. Participants range from well-established marquee brands like Momofuku and Charlie Palmer Steak to those new to the city’s culinary landscape like KJUN.
