Why bother cooking when you can head to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and let someone else cook that bird with all the trimmings? Here's what's cooking in the city:
BLT Market is serving up a 3-Course Thanksgiving meal, including a Wild Mushroom Risotto with Alba white truffles, Roasted Turkey with a chestnut-sausage stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, and a McIntosh Apple Cake for dessert. $95 Prix Fixe

At Bobby Flay's Bar Americain celebrate Thanksgiving with Gala Apple Salad with walnuts, Maytag blue cheese and pomegranates, Maple Horseradish Glazed Roast Turkey with a cornbread, wild mushroom and bacon stuffing. For dessert add a slice of Toasted Pumpkin Poundcake with cream cheese ice cream. $75 Prix Fixe

At Dressler's in Williamsburg begin your Thanksgiving meal with a Butternut Squash Bisque, Pan Roaste Quail, Roasted Breast of Heritage Turkey with a cornbread and chestnut stuffing, and some candied yams. $80 Prix Fixe

Sarabeth's West is serving up a Vermont Butternut Squash Soup with Colby cheddar croutons, a Country Salad with Bartlett pears and toasted walnuts. Aside from Free Range Turkey from the KNK Farm, there's also a 14 oz Rib Eye on the menu, along with some Pecan Pie for dessert. Prix Fixe $55 Adults/$35 Children

At the Crystal Room at Tavern on the Green start off with some Creamy Kabocha Pumpkin and Chestnut Bisque, or a Seafood Puff Pastry with bay scallops, lobster and spinach. Follow it up with Roasted Free Range Pennsylvania Turkey with a quince, cornbread stuffing, mashed Yukon Gold potatoes (A venison chop is also being offered). Top it off a slice of Pumpkin Cheesecake with spiced whipped cream, or a Chocolate Pecan Tart with chantilly sauce. $135 Prix Fixe (children half price)

The Farm on Adderley in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn will mark the holiday with a Cauliflower Soup with fried oyster, Roasted Organic Turkey Breast with chestnut stuffing and giblet gravy. Milk Chocolate Pudding with salted pretzel and caramel is among this year's desserts. $40 Prix Fixe; $25 Wine Pairing

Thanksgiving at Prune includes a McSorley's Cheddar Cheese Board, an Oyster Pan Roast, and Brined Roasted Capons with a cornbread and sweet Italian sausage stuffing. Sides include braised kale, mixed wild mushrooms, and stewed chestnuts with fresh ricotta. Finish it all off with a slice of Prune's Pear and Dried Cranberry Crisp.
