We were surprised to see a bit of a crowd outside Pizza Moto (338 Hamilton Ave; (718) 834-6686) in Carroll Gardens waiting for their pies to arrive. Some folks appeared to be from the neighborhood, while others were delivery drivers (the restaurant is accepting orders via Caviar.com). But then again, we're not surprised people would be lining up for those wood-fired pies, including the Margherita (tomato, d.o.p. buffula mozz, basil, pecorino, olive oil), 'Jerzy Pork Store (tomato, mozz, bacon, sausage, pepperoni, onion), and the Vermonter (cheddar, mozz, benton's ham, sage, crushed red, maple syrup). They're also known for their Beef & Ricotta Meatballs and a Smoked Trout Caesar.
