When St Patrick’s Day arrives on March 17, you don’t have to head to your nearest Irish bar to celebrate this festive holiday (although you can if you want). Many of the city’s bars and restaurants are getting into the action, many with intriguing menus, luscious libations and enchanting entertainment.
Upper West Side favorite Good Enough to Eat (520 Columbus Avenue) is rolling out a host of St. Patrick’s Day specials including Guinness Braised Bangers with Cheddar Dip, Shepherd’s Pie with House Salad and Irish Soda Bread and the Milk Stout Lucky Charms Cake
At Time Out Market New York in Dumbo (55 Water Street), you can quench your thirst with a specialty Lucky Charm cocktail made from Jameson, lemon juice, maple syrup, and aquafaba, Plus, don’t forget to test the luck of the Irish with the Market’s pot of gold surprise giveaway, where winners will receive a free St. Paddy’s Day drink of choice. And finally, head upstairs where The Brooklyn Irish Dance Company will be performing traditional Irish step on the 5th-floor rooftop beginning at 5 p.m.

Prepared by newly appointment Executive Chef Dennis Hatzinger, this special menu will include Corned Beef & Cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie, Bangers & Mash with Stout Onion Gravy and Irish Soda Bread.
At the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge at Moxy Times Square (485 7th Avenue), one can indulge in a special green Party Pouch cocktail (through March 20) or celebrate the occasion with a special music-filled party on the evening of March 19.
Tasca (505 Columbus Avenue) will be serving an array of Spanish, Latin-inspired specials to intrigue even the most loyal leprechauns, such as Empanadas Verde, Arroz Verde, Ninos Enveulto and Mariscada en Salsa Verde. For those looking to imbibe in celebration of the holiday, Tasca is serving a Irish Whiskey Flight of Tullamore Dew, Greenstack, and The Lost Irish.
